Ms. Sapuna Subha had been identified by the Bhutan Badminton Federation for the upcoming Asian Youth Para Games 2021. She will compete in the short stature (SH6) category with the support of the female participation grant sanctioned by the BWF.Mr. Dorji, the National Coordinator for Shuttle Time and Parabadminton has been training Ms. Sapuna at Gesarling HSS in Dagana Dzongkhag in preparation for the event at the Asian Youth Para Games 2021, which will be the first-ever para-badminton tournament. Ms. Sapuna will receive the dietary allowance from the Bhutan Paralympic Committee during her training period and will also be trained in Thimphu with the standing national players before departing for the international tournament.
