The Federation today organized an introductory training program involving 15 participants to test and evaluate the draft minimum qualification standard (MQS) for the selection of national players. The test and evaluation program was targeted towards informing and educating potential players on the concepts of MQS, procedures and tests available in the draft MQS while testing each standard of MQS through simultaneous practical sessions.
The players attended the theoretical sessions in the morning and engaged in practical sessions trying out the different tests. The players will undergo rigorous training from March 8-16 preparing for yet another test on March 17, 2021. The results of the MQS tests from March 17 will guide the Federation to set standard tests that would enable scientific, transparent and fair selection of the national squad.
