Our senior badminton players, Mr. Anish Gurung and Mr. Jimba Sangay Lhendup, attended the 𝑬𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑨𝒕𝒉𝒍𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑷𝒐𝒔𝒕-𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒓 𝑺𝒖𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔 workshop from October 28th to 31st, 2024, in Paro. Organized by the Athletes’ Commission of Bhutan, this comprehensive program included an entrepreneurship course, equipping athletes with essential business development skills for their post-sport careers.
Additionally, the athletes received valuable education on anti-doping and safeguarding, ensuring they are well-informed on these critical aspects of sports integrity. The Federation extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Athletes’ Commission of Bhutan for this invaluable opportunity and support.
This workshop serves as a crucial tool in helping athletes transition by equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive beyond their athletic careers.
