Bhutan Badminton Federation warmly welcomed back our two dedicated athletes, Mr. Anish Gurung and Mr. Jimba Sangay Lhendup, after successfully completing their intensive two and half year of training at the Ponsona Badminton Academy in Bangkok. This achievement is a testament to their hard work, determination, and passion for the sport.
The federation would like to express our special gratitude to the Bhutan Olympic Committee (BOC) for their generous funding support, which made this invaluable training opportunity possible.
We would also like to thank the Ponsona Badminton Academy for their excellent training and support throughout these two years. Lastly, we want to acknowledge the parents of Anish and Jimba. Your support, encouragement, and belief in your children’s potential have been vital to their success.
Coinciding with this joyous occasion, the Federation published the 4th edition of our Annual Report. This report highlights our collective efforts, achievements, and future plans for continuing to grow and promote badminton in Bhutan.
