Bhutan Badminton Federation (BBF) commenced Online Badminton Umpire Course today with a total of 147 participants joining from various regions across the nation. The participants consist of School Sports Instructors (SSI), Coaches, and badminton enthusiasts.
The course is designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge required to officiate badminton matches or tournaments effectively. The course covers a wide range of topics, including the Laws of Badminton, Instructions to Technical Officials, Clothing Regulations, and the Code of Conduct.
The course is conducted by Mr. Norbu Dradhul, Technical Coordinator of BBF and Ms. Rinchen Lham (SSI) who are committed to sharing their knowledge and experience gained in Nepal to empower the participants in Bhutan.
The course will conclude on the 20th of October 2023. These newly trained officials will play an essential role in ensuring fair play and maintaining the integrity of badminton competitions in Bhutan and beyond.
