The advanced winter training for badminton ended on 28th January 2023, with 26 participants from 7 different districts (Thimphu, Haa, Dagana, Samtse, Tsirang, Wangdue and Punakha) taking part in the program. The training was focused on improving the skills and techniques of the badminton players, as well as providing them with the opportunity to compete against one another and showcase their skills and abilities.
The conclusion of the training was marked by a tournament, in which the players were evaluated on their performance by a panel of coaches. The tournament provided an opportunity for the athletes to demonstrate their progress and for the coaches and scouts to identify any potential future stars of the sport.
The training was a success, with many of the participants showing significant improvement in their abilities over the course of the program. The coaches were impressed by the level of talent and dedication displayed by the players, and several of them have been identified as potential athletes for future competitions.
Overall, the advanced winter training was a valuable experience for all of the participants, providing them with the opportunity to develop their skills and to be recognized for their talent.
